lesson learned

The lesson that i learned from paying attention to some one is when i was in the 5th grade is when my brother was always doing his work and and i never did mine because i didn't think it was important to do your work cause i was always passing. So he always got to do what he wanted to do because he always did his home work. i never did get to go anywhere because of that situation so i finnaly started to do my homework and now i get to do what ever i want to do.

Commas

My father had left our house in the midst of a fight between Lindsey and my mother. My mother was trying to get Lindsey to go with her to the Y to swim. Without thinking Lindsey had blared, "I'd rather die!", at the top of her lungs. My father watched as my mother froze, then burst fleeing to their bedroom, to wail behind the door. He quietly tucked his notebook in his jacket pocket, took the car keys off the hook by the back door, and snuck out.

Story spinners: your childhood neighborhood.

As the old man approached my friends and me he was holding a flashlight. He was saying something none of us could understand. He had a blue holy shirt on with, a pair of blue jeans. He was barefoot as he approached us on the road. Campbell said "What are you doing with a flashlight in your hands in the middle of the day walking down the road?" The old man said, Some one took my bicycle that i was going to give to my grandson for his birthday. I asked him "were did he have it last" and he was using gibberish. I was like sir were did you leave the bicycle at and he said" in my front year cause my grandson was coming over today to see me and that is when he was going to get it". Campbell said what does it look like? The old man said its green with blue strips down the middle of the bicycle. I was like there still is no reason why you are still hold a flashlight with you. The old man was like i have it just in case i go looking in the trashcans or someone garage for it. Campbell told him we would help him look for it. So we went all over childress looking for the bicycle and we finally found it at his grandson house. The old man went up to their front door and knock on it and ask for him and he came out side and the old man asked him " how did you get this" and his grandson said" I came over today to see you and you were not at home and i knew it was mine cause my mom and dad told me that i was getting one from you on my birthday but they didn't know what color it was." The old man was like you could of waited for me to get back cause we were out looking for it everywhere. The grandson apologized for taking the bicycle and they went inside the grandson house and they had cake and ice cream and the little boy road his bicycle the whole day untill he had to go in and go to bed.
